NEW INFORMATION: MASSES AT CHRIST THE REDEEMER PARISH WILL INCREASE TO 50 PERSONS BEGIN ON SATURDAY JUNE 20TH. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION AND GUIDLINES. Further, in keeping with the Code of Canon Law No. 87, Archbishop Donald Bolen grants to all the Catholic faithful dispensation from their Sunday obligation until further notice.

Congratulations Father Anthony

Congratulations Father Anthony on your appointment to Gull Lake and Cabri.  Father Anthony will also spend about 50% of his time here at Christ the Redeemer, helping out in various capacities.  We wish Father Anthony all the best in his new posting and look forward to continue to work with and support him here at Christ the Redeemer.

Welcome Father Thomas

Welcome Father Thomas Mutavanattu

Christ the Redeemer Parish extends a Blessed welcome to Father Thomas.  Father Thomas comes to us from ST. MARY’S PARISH, Regina.  He was born in INDIA, ALAKODE, KERALA and came to Canada in May of 2010.  He began his priestly ministry in the Archdiocese of Regina in August of 2010.

Msgr. Rey Leaving CTR

Farewell Monsignor Rey

Msgr. Rey will be leaving Christ the Redeemer Parish and moving to Regina in mid-August.  He will then be on Sabbatical for 6 months beginning September 1, 2020 and take up residence at Trinity Manor.

Following the Sabbatical, Msgr. Rey will continue his priestly duties ministering at various parishes in Regina.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will not be an in-person farewell for Msgr. Rey; However, on Sunday August 16, 2020 there will be a Farewell Drive-By at the Church at 2:00 PM.

The Parish wishes Msgr. Rey all the best in health, happiness and success, and will remember him in our prayers.  Thank you, Msgr. Rey, for all your support and spiritual guidance over the past 4 years. You truly will be missed.
